Clinical Trial Investigator Meeting

Delegant was asked to organise and manage a global phase III clinical trial investigator meeting in Zurich. The meeting was augmented with a kick-off meeting and CRA training prior to the main meeting. The meeting required us to work directly with both the sponsor company (biotech) and their contract research organisation (CRO) as well as five other companies who were providing services for the clinical trial. These included IVRS, central laboratory, rater trainers, product manufacture and product supply as well as working with independent oversight committees. In total 150 people attended from 12 different countries including Australia, US, Israel, and India.
Delegant were responsible for:
- Project management and budget
- Venue finding & contracting
- Delegate liaison with travel, transfers and accommodation booking
- Assistance with visa applications
- AV and set design
- Simultaneous translation into 4 languages
- Delegate packs (including protocol, CRF completion guidelines, GCP training)
- On site support
- Expense management and payments

The meetings were a tremendous success. The project came in slightly under budget. The attendance rate of 100% is almost unheard of for such meetings and this was even more impressive given that delegates were travelling from countries as far away as Australia. Delegates from 12 different countries all arrived into Zurich for the start of the meeting and many of them commented how impressed they were at how efficient Delegant had been in working with them to arrange travel and accommodation.
