When Scotland Stole the Show

Date: June 3, 2026

Kate and Sophie from the Delegant team recently delivered an annual conference for one of the membership associations we manage.

Held at the fantastic Apex Dunblane Hydro Hotel in Scotland, the event brought together more than 120 delegates from across the UK for a programme packed with learning, networking and collaboration.

The conference featured a varied mix of professional sessions, breakout discussions and opportunities to share experiences and best practice. Alongside the formal programme, delegates had plenty of time to connect with colleagues old and new, whether during networking activities, the popular quiz evening or informal discussions throughout the event.

As always, the conference dinner was a highlight. Delegates embraced the “Great Scot!” theme with enthusiasm, showcasing some fantastic costumes celebrating the best of Scotland. A traditional bagpiper welcomed guests to the evening before everyone enjoyed a memorable dinner and ceilidh that had the room buzzing from start to finish.

A great example of how the right balance of educational content, networking opportunities and social activities can create an event that delegates will remember long after they return home.
