EUCROF24 Annual Conference

EUCROF24 was the European CRO Federation’s (EUCROF’s) 2024 Conference, which took place in the historic city of Prague. This was the first conference Delegant delivered for EUCROF, and what a success it turned out to be. The event took place over 2 days, with a networking evening the day before. It was attended by over 325 attendees and 35 exhibitors, with over 170 organisations represented from 26 countries. This event saw an increase of more than 25% in attendee numbers compared to the previous largest EUCROF Conference. The EUCROF Conference was previously held as a biannual event (the last event being held in Madrid 2022) and has now become an annual event. Delegant looks forward to organising EUCROF25 in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, following EUCROF24 being the most diverse EUCROF Conference to date.

EUCROF24 was a dynamic platform for industry professionals to converge, collaborate, and catalyse advancements in clinical research. The success of this event was down to a number of factors: high-quality presentations, leading industry speakers, engaged attendees, diverse exhibitors, impactful networking opportunities, and more.

Networking opportunities at EUCROF24 provided the perfect chance for delegates to meet one another, exhibitors, and the association’s committee, before and during the event. The Conference Programme featured several networking events, including Networking by the River, Conference Dinner, and B2B meetings.

The main Conference took place over 2 days and was full of content. The event saw the introduction of 4 new breakout streams covering key topics in clinical research: artificial intelligence, decentralised clinical trials, clinical trial regulation/clinical trial information system, and insights. Leading subject-matter experts took to the stage for the breakout streams (selected from a call for abstracts) and the main plenary and panel sessions, and 6 companies booked to deliver demonstration sessions during the event.

At the end of the first main day, over 250 of the conference attendees joined us for a fantastic evening: the Conference Dinner, which stood out as a highlight of the event.

The evening enabled attendees to form connections and make memories, with a drinks reception, fantastic food, a magician, and a band to finish. A standout occasion for clinical research.
